Underclass All American Games Set for Tampa, Fullerton
By: Frank Gates |

TAMPA - The 3rd Annual Underclass All-American Games are set for Tampa, FL and Fullerton, CA, Prospect Wire announced on Monday.  The east coast version in Tampa, and the west coast version in Fullerton will both be held simultaneously on August 16-18, 2013.

The Underclass All-American Games are in their 3rd season on the east, and their 2nd season on the west.

"We split it into east and west because there is no reason for a player to get on an airplane and spend $500 flying across the country," PW founder Matt Bomeisl said. "Colleges on the west coast typically aren't recruiting east coast kids, and colleges in the east aren't typically recruiting west coast kids.  There are obviously exceptions, but splitting it up just makes it easier on everyone involved."

The showcase is by invitation-only with the event focused on underclass prospects and college recruiting.

Now that the event is in it's 3rd year on the east coast, Prospect Wire is now beginning to form a list of alumni that have attended this event with their college commitments.
