PW Travel Organization Tryout Coverage/Underclass AA Invites
By: Corey Goldfarb | corey@prospectwire.com

Tampa - Even though summer travel baseball is over and players are back in school, the travel baseball programs are still working hard to prepare for their fall schedule and selecting players for their 2015 teams.

Part of what we do in the fall besides having several tournaments nationwide is covering travel programs tryout and camps. This is something that has grown over the past several years as more and more programs are reaching out to PW for coverage of their tryouts and camps.

We are getting started earlier than ever with our camp and tryout coverage this weekend covering the Jacksonville Warriors program. August 30-September 1 we will cover FTB's Fall Instructional Camp. The Florida Surge Select and Next Level Baseball's camps and tryouts will be covered as well this fall.

Prospect Wire Underclass All-Americans will be identified earlier than ever starting this weekend. The Jacksonville Warriors had nine players participate in our PW Underclass All-American Games last weekend. Despite the rain and lightning delays at USF there was a ton of talent on the field, especially up the middle. Many of the players showed well in front of the colleges and professional scouts in attendance.

This has been an exciting year for PW as we continue to grow nationally with our tournaments, showcases and tryout coverage.

By the time the calendar year is over we will have hosted or covered at least seven more events that will help identify 2015 PW Underclass All-Americans invitees.

We take pride in identifying players at these tryouts and getting them the exposure at an early age. Another great aspect of covering these tryouts is that we get to see these players more than anyone except for their high schools and travel teams.

Scouting players repeatedly from the time they are 14 years old until they graduate high school gives us an advantage when publishing reports and rankings. The more we see a player, the more accurately we can assess what type of player they are now and what type of player they project out to be.

We look forward to a full schedule this fall and ending 2014 by scouting more players than we've ever scouted since PW started back in 2005. As always, you can follow our coverage on @prospectwire and here for full rankings and reports.

About Corey Goldfarb
